Jack Kennedy was the jockey of the festival as he had early romped to victory on Black Tears as a rank 80-1 outsider – the biggest Cheltenham winner in 30 years.

The next major event on the British racing calendar is only a fortnight away as the Aintree Grand National takes place between 8-10 April. The prize money in the Grand National itself is a cool £1,000,000 this year – making it the single biggest race on the calendar.
40 runners will compete over 4 miles and 2 furlongs on Merseyside next month. Tiger Roll is the two-time defending champion, having won here in 2018 and 2019 prior to last year’s cancellation, but will not be featuring this year.
Cloth Cap is currently the clear favourite with the bookmakers, with many expecting the likes of Any Second Now, Minella Times and Burrows Saint to only be outsiders.
